With Ampeg cabs, Marshall stacks and an arsenal of earth shattering riffs up their sleeves, The band was soon rocking their way through the San Francisco club scene and beyond. From their first show at the old Covered Wagon (R.I.P.) in June of 2001, to venues all over the west coast, Floating Goat’s brand of Stoner meets Slayer, riff driven, doom laden heavy rock is reminiscent of old Helmet, Melvins, Crowbar, Nebula or perhaps that epic guitar riff that's been stuck in your head for decades. In addition to appearances at Stoner Hands Of Doom IV in Mesa, AZ. and S.H.O.D.
